Fine/OverDues for Students
Beyond due date Rs 5/- per/day/book for 1 month. In case of non-return of the books or non-payment of fine, the library facility will not be extended to them and the cost of the books along with fine will be recovered from student’s caution money.
If any reader lost or mutilate the books / documents, the cost of the books / documents shall be recovered by Replacement of Books (Latest Edition) with fine Rs. 5 per day per book / double cost of the books with fine as per University Policy
Documents that can and cannot be borrowed: Textbooks and Subject books can be borrowed. Journals & Magazines, Reference and Costly Books (more than Rs. 2000) cannot be borrowed.
Renewals/Reservations
Max. 2 renewals. If the book is reserved by others no renewal allowed.Short Term Courses:
1. If the course is less than one month - Only reference
2. If the course is more than one month – 2 books can be issued with loan period of 7 days and only one renewal is allowed
3. Fine – Same as Student category
